Get familiar with your kit, learn how to pack your backpack and keep your essentials dry and organised. You’ll also discover what makes a good campsite and how to prepare for nights in the great outdoors.
Then lace up your boots for a practice trek. Get to grips with navigation, test your footwork and learn how to tackle different terrain.
Finish the day on a high with an exciting high ropes challenge. Navigate obstacles above the ground, test your nerves and encourage your teammates as you build trust, confidence and teamwork.
Setesdal Valley
Ready to trek? You’ve learnt the basics, now it’s time to put your new skills to the test. Grab your backpack and head into the Nordic wilderness for a two-day trekking adventure, with your leader showing you the way.
Follow trails through ancient woodland, past glistening lakes and across huge granite ridges. Trekking with your camping gear is no easy feat, but that’s all part of the challenge. Encourage each other along the way, lend a hand when the going gets tough and take plenty of breaks to soak up the epic views over forests, mountains and valleys.
Tonight, you’ll be camping wild. Work together to pitch your tents, get comfortable and prepare a well-earned dinner. With the long summer daylight hours, there’s plenty of time to relax, share stories and enjoy your surroundings.
River Otra
Swap your trekking poles for a paddle - your next adventure takes you onto the beautiful River Otra. Learn essential paddle techniques and safety skills before heading onto the water.
Paddle beneath dramatic mountains, keeping your eyes peeled for beavers along the banks and golden eagles overhead. Work together, coordinate your strokes and navigate the river with your local guide leading the way.
Set up camp on an island or riverbank, pitch your tents and enjoy another night surrounded by nature.
Next, turn up the adrenaline with an epic white water rafting adventure. Paddle hard, work as a team and tackle the rushing rapids with experienced guides. Catch your breath on calmer stretches before the next thrilling ride.
Norway
After an unforgettable week, it’s time to say goodbye to Norway. Pack your bags, leave basecamp behind and head to the airport.
Check in, sit back and think about everything you’ve achieved. You’ve trekked through Nordic wilderness, paddled along wild rivers and spent nights camping beneath the Norwegian sky.
Along the way, you’ve stepped outside your comfort zone, taken on new challenges and discovered just how much you can achieve with your team by your side.
You’re heading home with new skills, stronger friendships and the confidence to take on whatever comes next.
